Terms & Conditions

By accessing or using Tribes, operated by Latin Dance Tribes (KvK: 54992060), you agree to be bound by these Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the platform.

You must be at least 13 years old to use Tribes. Users under 18 may only use the platform with verifiable parental or guardian consent where required by applicable law.

Tribes is exclusively for dance education, entertainment, performance, and related creative arts. Adult content is prohibited for all users, including verified creators.

By creating an account you confirm that all information you provide is accurate and that you meet the eligibility requirements.

Creators are independent individuals or entities, not employees of Tribes: Latin Dance. You are solely responsible for the content you upload and must ensure it complies with all applicable laws, including Dutch and EU regulations.

Tribes: Latin Dance reserves the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines, including content that is illegal, harassing, or misrepresents others.

All content posted on Tribes must:

• Be related to dance, performance, or associated creative arts.
• Not depict or promote illegal activity, hate speech, violence, or discrimination.
• Not infringe on third-party intellectual property rights.
• Not involve or depict minors in any inappropriate context.

Adult content, pornography, sexually explicit material, sexual services, and nudity are prohibited. Creator verification, a paid subscription, or an artistic label does not create an exception to this rule.

Creators must complete identity verification before publishing. Users can report posts for nudity, sexual content, or other violations. Administrators review reported content and may remove posts, warn creators, suspend accounts, or terminate accounts to keep the platform focused on dance and related creative arts.

Violations of these guidelines may result in immediate content removal, account suspension, or termination.

Subscribers pay a monthly fee set by the creator. Payments are processed securely via Stripe and/or Mollie. By subscribing you authorise the recurring charge until you cancel.

Creators receive 80% of subscription revenue; Tribes: Latin Dance retains a 20% platform fee to cover hosting, payment processing, and operational costs.

Under EU consumer protection law, digital content subscriptions may carry a 14-day right of withdrawal unless you have expressly waived this right by requesting immediate access to content. By subscribing and accessing content immediately you acknowledge that your right of withdrawal is waived for that subscription period.

Payout requests are processed subject to minimum thresholds and identity verification as detailed in the Creator Payout section of the platform.

You retain ownership of all content you upload. You grant Tribes: Latin Dance a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, display, and distribute your content solely for the purpose of operating the platform and delivering it to your subscribers.

This licence terminates when you delete the content or close your account, subject to reasonable cache and backup retention periods.

You may not upload content that infringes third-party intellectual property rights, including copyrighted music, video, or choreography you do not own or have a licence to use.

If you believe content on Tribes infringes your copyright, please send a takedown notice to latindancetribes@gmail.com including: (i) identification of the copyrighted work; (ii) identification of the infringing content and its location; (iii) your contact information; (iv) a statement of good faith belief; (v) a statement of accuracy and authority under penalty of perjury; (vi) your signature.

Tips sent to creators are voluntary and non-refundable. Tips do not constitute a purchase of goods or services and carry no implied obligation from the creator.

You may not use Tribes to: harass, threaten, or impersonate others; distribute malware or spam; scrape or reproduce platform data without permission; engage in fraudulent activity; or circumvent platform payment flows.

Violations may result in immediate account suspension or termination without refund.

Tribes is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by Dutch and EU law, Tribes: Latin Dance is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform.

Our total liability to you for any claim shall not exceed the total fees you have paid to the platform in the 12 months preceding the claim.

You may delete your account at any time via Settings. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without prior notice. Creators will receive any outstanding balance owed at the time of termination, less any applicable fees or deductions for policy violations.

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts in the Netherlands, without prejudice to your rights as a consumer under mandatory EU law.

You may also use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or in-app notification at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the platform after that period constitutes your acceptance of the new terms.
